In 1964, King became the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. This great recognition came with King’s tireless, selfless dedication to achieve the Great Dream to end racial segregation and racial discrimination in the U.S.
King achieved his dream through nonviolent strategies.
There is hardly anyone who has not heard about King’s “I Have a Dream” speech. King never held a political position, yet touched the lives of so many.
